For those of you not familiar with this type of thing, an online dating scammer, also known as a romance scammer, will often use a photo that is not actually theirs. They will also claim to live in the US, but once contact is made, they will then tell you that they are currently working in another country, mainly Nigeria, but sometimes the UK. They will talk to you for a while, send you beautiful letters and poetry, and after a while they will ask you for money. If anyone on here has ever dealt with this kind of thing, please contact me.

My latest release charts the romance between a free African American woman and an Oneida Indian man during the American Revolution in New York state. I like exploring where Blacks were during key events in history. Where and how can I promote this sub-genre? My publishers had faith in me and took on the story.
